I have been a TA at Shelton Infants for 13 years, working in all year groups. I also have HLTA status signifying I meet the professional standards to take on greater classroom responsibilities, deliver lessons and cover classes for teachers.

Prior to working at Shelton Infants I had over 14 years of experience in early years childcare and education. Most recently I was the manager of a local pre-school.

On a personal level, I'm very happily married with three, now adult, children. I have lived in Derby for 34 years except for four and a half years when we were lucky enough to live in Singapore.

I’m really proud to be the staff representative on the Governing body. My priority will always be, first and foremost, the education, care and wellbeing of the children at Shelton Infant School.
