My name is Debbie Smith. I joined Shelton Infants Governing Body because I really believe it is one of the best schools in Derby. My children attended Shelton over 20 years ago and the friendly, caring culture and great results have never changed.

 Until two years ago, I worked at Rolls-Royce managing apprentices, so I am very committed to the support and development of all children and young people, no matter what age they are.  I am now retired so can spend more time as Co-Chair leading the Governing Body to support the school in ensuring all our pupils achieve their very best.
